Foto: Hans Koraeus When the skate park was built 2012 we never built a concrete drop-in at the beginning of the ditch. We did not know how much speed would be needed for the ditch doing a banked slalom or a slalom course. Maybe we would need different drop-in options. So instead of guessing and building something that would not be appropriate we just built a flat platform at the start of the ditch. Then we could build and use normal start ramps there as much as wanted. And could change it as needed. And by building just a platform we also saved a great deal of money on the skatepark budget. Unfortunately we had not taken into account that by not building the drop-in in concrete together with all the other concrete work in the park this start…
